The CDC recommends 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes) of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity a week. And, on two or more days muscle-strengthening that works all the major muscle groups. To ensure a healthy diet you should increase the amount of fruits and vegetables eaten daily. Half of your plate should be fruit and vegetables. Eat a variety of vegetables that are bright in color dark green, red and yellow. Choose a variety of proteins; this includes: seafood, lean meat, poultry, eggs, beans, and nuts. Choose low-fat or fat-free when choosing dairy products such as milk, yogurt, and cheese.
