Cold Laser: Cold laser therapy is light therapy that targets the cell membrane and increases microcirculation and tissue healing. The overall effects are decreased pain and inflammation, and increased range of motion. The cold laser does not have a thermal (heat) effect and is used to stimulate tissue. The ERCHONIA laser used at Reese Chiropractic & Wellness has been FDA approved.
Electric Stimulation: Electric Stimulation, commonly called EStim, is a muscle therapy that uses electric current to contract muscles which leads to muscle rehabilitation and a decrease in pain.
Ultrasound: Therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to promote blood flow and decrease swelling to the area being treated.
Intersegmental Traction: The intersegmental traction table is used to promote proper range of motion of the spine. The table also generates relaxation of the spinal muscles as well as causing a decrease in muscle spasms.
Kinesio tape: “The Kinesio Taping® Method is a definitive rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as providing extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting.” http://www.kinesiotaping.com/about/kinesio-taping-method
